This post marks the end of our three months in Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Eastern Europe, and back to commence our second 90-day block inside the Schengen Zone. There was a slight hiccup at the Greek border, when we thought for a moment that we were going to be denied entry, but it was resolved, and we made it to Thessaloniki as planned.

Greece's second-biggest city, in the far north of the country, is a wonderful place to just relax, wander around, and absorb the feeling of being in modern Greece. We stayed here longer than anywhere else, so far, and did far less planned sightseeing, both being a welcome change of pace.

See if you can capture some of what we felt by reading through our stories. Sign up below for notifications when we post something new, if you haven't already.

  • The nomads find a home! 10 days in the one place!!! Glad you got a change to recharge so you’ve got the energy to send through more sways over the coming year. The clock on the main page (233 days and counting) tells a story about how long you’ve been on the road.
