Europe – Here we come! - Walk the World

The Grand Tour of Europe is about to begin!

After putting international travel on hold for a couple of years, and substituting our land-based adventure from Melbourne to Cairns last year, we have at last activated the big trip to Europe and beyond. The tickets are booked for 1 July, and nothing will stop us now. Well, unless another plague shuts everything down or The Ukraine escalates into WWIII.

We start in London, where we will catch up with Jan's daughter and her partner after not having seen them since 2018. We will then do the first of many, many walks on the great South West Coastal path in Cornwall and Devon, followed by more walking in Wales and some rest and relaxation at a Karma resort near the Cotswolds.

This will probably be the only post we do before leaving, but there will be very regular updates as we move through our journey.

Zoom in on the map to see where we plan to be, and what we plan to do in some places. Red means a planned future destination, and we'll update as we go along, changing to Blue when we have already been there and Green for where we were when we did the last update.

To whet your appetite before the first of our new stories appear, we have created a few from our first trip to India in 2015/6. We loved this trip, and went back again a couple of years later.
