This post is a little delayed. We left Paris a few days ago, but it was so full-on there that we got a couple of days behind with photos and writing the Sway. Then the drive to the next destination took two days, with a stopover that didn't have great Wi-Fi. Better late than never, though.

We had a fabulous time in Paris, cramming in most of the A-List sights, and a few others as well. Left Bank, Right Bank, museums, palaces, The Seine, cathedrals, basilica, gardens, squares, boulangeries and cafés. Paris really is one of the world's great cities, and our story of five days there can only be a taste of what it offers.

We hope you enjoy sharing this part of our adventure.

    • I’m afraid I’m a complete amateur when it comes to website construction. I put this together during a period of COVID lockdown, and had a lot of difficulty working out how to do even these basics. So, I don’t think I can be much help with browser incompatibilities.

The site has very little traffic, but so far I haven’t been told of any problems. One thing I did stumble was the use of a page-builder to make page construction possible without having to learn WordPress coding. I’m using one called Brizy, the free edition. It’s possible that with Brizy doing the coding in the background, I’m not putting small coding errors in?

Anyway, thanks for the positive comments on the site. I hope you are enjoying some of the stories of our travels.

    • Thank you for your kind words. We’re glad you like the site.

We did the whole thing ourselves, not just the design and layout, but we taught ourselves how to build the site and get it hosted and published. Plenty of spare time on our hands during the long COVID lockdown in Melbourne in 2020. The site is built on WordPress, using the Brizy page builder and the Page Builder Framework theme.

We had been using MS Sway for a couple of years to keep friends and family updated on our trips, so it wasn’t a big step to decide to collect them together in one spot.

Anyway, we hope you keep enjoying the site and the stories of our travels.
