We move to the south-west of the Czech Republic, based for a few days in Český Krumlov, an incredible medieval town with an enormous castle. All the travel brochures and websites say Český Krumlov is one of the must-see destinations in the country, and we can attest to that.

On our first walk through the town, there were simply jaw-dropping views at every turn. Just out of the peak tourist season, and with the Prague day-trippers back on their buses by late afternoon, we almost felt that we had the place to ourselves. The castle is one of the biggest in Europe, and it held a couple of surprises for us when we did some tours.

There was great food to be had, some places to see nearby, and we even managed a day walk.

We hope you enjoy our story about a few days in this charming little town.
