Since leaving home at Palm Cove seven weeks ago, we have been a long way from the sea. Apart from a couple of sightings of Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne, the sea has been a long way from where were have travelled. Such a change from the beach walks we so often do at home.

But at Newcastle, our first stop after Orange , we are back on the coast. A few days of ocean views, before again heading inland. We spent some time in Tamworth, and then in the glorious city of Toowoomba in southern Queensland.
