We are almost two weeks into our road adventure to Far North Queensland. We have made it to the NSW Central Coast, via some very remote roads through the High Country in East Gippsland and the Southern Highlands of NSW.

We have managed to fit in a lot so far, refining some of our set up and doing a few really good walks. There have been some cold nights so far, but we have had only one night of rain, and none yet through the days. Can't ask for more than that.

This post features three of the sections through the High Country. Our first stop after Labertouche was at the Angusvale campground where we did a walk along the beautiful and tranquil Mitchell river. From there we drove down a very hair-raising track to camp at the iconic McKilliiops Bridge and do the strenuous Silvermine Walking Trail. Then on to Jindabyne at the foot of the NSW ski fields where we set our sights on getting to the top of Mount Kosciusko.

Click on the pictures below to travel with us to these wonderful places. And keep coming back to see where we have been and where we will go next.
