Travelling south after our awesome visit to Cappadocia, it was time for some R&R at a couple of coastal resorts in Turkey. The first, Antalya, is a large city on the Mediterranean coast, the second, Bodrum, is a smaller resort city located where the Mediterranean meets the Aegean.

After more than five months of moving about and doing lots of sightseeing, we used these two places for a bit of a recharge. Less sightseeing, and a bit of relaxation, along with catching up on photos, posts and domestic administration. Even though we are travelling, those bills from home still have to be paid.

There is a bit less writing about day-to-day adventures in this Sway, and more about the feel of the towns. Plenty of photos though, so you can get a sense of these lovely cities as well.

We hope you like what you see, and maybe add these destinations to your own future plans.

    • Thanks KB, and Happy NY to Ross and you.

The journey continues. We are a couple of weeks behind with the posts, but have one or two special ones coming through soon. Look out for Gallipoli and The King’s Lodge in particular!

    • Not being a great photographer, I’m back on a steep learning curve to sort out the settings. By the time I’m writing this, I’ve had a couple of weeks to play with it, and the shots are coming out better. But I had the white balance setting wrong in Pamukkale and they all turned out blue. Lots of editing required 🙂
